Email and CRM nurture: from registration to first deposit

Brokers pay to acquire registrations, then watch a large share go quiet before depositing. Every one of those registrations is an asset you've already paid for. A structured nurture programme turns more of them into funded traders.

Map the journey

Identify where traders drop off: after registration, during KYC, after verification but before deposit, or after the first deposit. Each drop-off needs its own response.

A simple nurture sequence

  • Welcome: what to do next, how to verify, where to get help.
  • KYC reminder: clear instructions and reassurance about why it's required.
  • Education: platform tutorials and beginner guides.
  • Demo to live: encourage practice, then explain the step to a live account.
  • Deposit help: local payment methods and support contacts.
The cheapest trader you'll ever acquire is the one who already registered.

Use more than email

In many markets, WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS or a call from a support agent converts better than email. Match the channel to the market — with proper consent.

After the first deposit

Onboarding doesn't end at deposit. Early trades are when traders decide whether to stay. Education, platform tips and responsive support in the first weeks improve retention.

Stay compliant

Respect consent and data protection rules in each market, include opt-outs, avoid pressure tactics and profit claims, and ensure any incentives are permitted where you're licensed.

The takeaway

Build a sequence for each drop-off point, use the channels your traders prefer, and keep supporting them after the first deposit. It's often the highest-return work in the funnel.
